2016 Annual ConferenceAC 16 Daily Schedule

Bethel AME Church will be offering “Free” A+ Certification training, coming soon 3rd quarter 2016!

What is an A+ certification?

An A+ certification is the entry level certification available to entry level IT personnel. It’s normally a 90 day course offering the basics of computer hardware, software, and how companies utilize computers in their daily operations, with the goal of providing enough training to allow one to gain entry level employment in the IT field.

How could Bethel provide A+ training & certifications?

Bethel has the infrastructure needed to facilitate this type of training.  Actual course training is online based and 100% free to Bethel AME Church. Bethel has experienced IT individuals to facilitate the hands on classroom training.

Is there a cost involved to obtain the actual A+ certification after the totally free training has been completed?

Yes, there are 2 tests that must be passed. Cost per test is $200.00, however, because Bethel AME church is a 501 c3 organization, our cost for Bethel trained students will only be $99.00 per test, $180.00 total!

You must show financial ability to take the 2 required tests after training and obtain employment. Testing centers are located in several Kansas City metro areas. Bethel can provide some limited financial support in this area.

Employment opportunities after successfully obtaining an A+ certification.

If interested in taking the training, send an email to: A+@bccckc.org
